directQuarantine™ 2.0 for Outlook provides easy spam management for hosted email environments
Vircom releases directQuarantine 2.0 with new features for ease-of-use, support for Outlook 64-bit, and service providers
Montreal, Canada, Nov. 29th, 2011 –Vircom, a leader in e-mail messaging security software, has released a new version of directQuarantineTM, an affordable and easy-to-use Outlook add-on module for its email security software.directQuarantine enables end-users to quickly and easily access their quarantined emails directly from Outlook, and the new features introduced with directQuarantine 2.0 makes it even easier. Quarantined emails can now be grouped by confidence level, to display emails with low probability of spam first, allowing end-users to quickly search the quarantine. End-users can also conveniently select multiple emails to ‘report as spam’ or ‘release and report’ to Vircom for further analysis, rather than repeating the process several times for each individual email.
In addition to adding new performance enhancing features, directQuarantine 2.0 now extends support for both on-premise and hosted email security environments with modusGate or modusMail running either 32- or 64-bit Windows, as well as blockade and hot standby architectures and terminal servers.
“We have had an exceptional response to the first release of directQuarantine earlier this year, and are extremely pleased to be able to offer our customers who provide hosted email security solutions the same advantages that IT Admins have enjoyed by deploying directQuarantine in their on-premise networks,” said Mike Petsalis, CEO of Vircom. “In addition to decreased support costs and improved end-user satisfaction, directQuarantine provides service providers a value added source of revenue generation and unrivaled differentiation from the competition,” Petsalis added.
